·      Extend existing listed activities namely, receptions, club or other group meetings, recorded music, live performance, dance facilities, indoor/outdoor sport and televised sport to be provided outwith core licensed hours

·      Include appropriate explanation of activities outwith core licensed hours

·      Change the terms of the children and young persons statement to include for the purpose of dining

There had been circulated copies of an application for the variation of a Premises Licence together with current and proposed Operating Plans.  Mr Tunnah, Licensing Standards and Enforcement Officer advised that the application was to vary the existing licence to allow the introduction of lunches and meals and to bring the Operating Plan up to date.  The changes were within Policy and there were no objections from Police Scotland and no representations. 

 

There was no representative from Kelso Rugby Club but it had been agreed that the application be heard in their absence.

 

       DECISION

        GRANTED.

The Convener welcomed Mr Brown via Microsoft Teams.  Mr Brown explained that the premises had a kitchen and he wished to be able to provide food in the event that it was permitted depending on the tiered COVID-19 system in place once current restrictions were lifted and also to future proof his business going forward.

GRANTED.
